On November 9, Midland College held its annual Veterans Day Celebration, uniting veterans, families, and community members in honoring the service of military personnel. The event included inspiring speakers, heartfelt tributes to those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, a 5K and fun run, as well as a job and resource fair tailored for veterans in the Permian Basin.
MC grad Tim Jakel said that he wants to wake up every morning and know that he is doing something to give back to the nonprofit community that helped his family.
For over 30 years, Midland College has welcomed the community to its annual Holiday Evening, a cherished tradition celebrating the season with friends, family, and neighbors. This year, MC will continue the tradition on Thursday, December 5, with a festive, family-friendly evening filled with holiday activities -- all free and open to the public.
Felix Campos, Fidel Gardea de la Cruz and Royce Knight just graduated from high school this past May; however, thanks to MC's dual credit CTE program, they are already enjoying successful careers as diesel techs.
