A Cutting-Edge Learning Experience in Healthcare Simulation

Born from a unique collaboration between area colleges and medical centers, the F. Marie Hall SimLife Center at Midland College offers a state-of-the-art environment for healthcare training. Our center is equipped with advanced Laerdal and Gaumard simulators—including SimMan Essential, SimNewB, Nurse Anne, Laerdal Birthing, and HAL pediatric models, each designed to recreate realistic patient scenarios.

Students from our Associate Degree Nursing, Licensed Vocational Nursing, Sonography, Respiratory Care, Behavioral Health, and Radiologic Technology programs all train in this facility, along with healthcare professionals from local hospitals and specialized providers such as a helicopter ambulance service. All participants utilize the same high-quality equipment found in real-world healthcare settings.

These lifelike simulators allow students and professionals to practice critical skills in a safe, controlled environment, free from the risk of patient harm. With integrated, high-quality audio and video recording systems, participants can review their performance, reflect on their decisions, and enhance their skills to deliver the best possible care.
