She returns home with more than two decades of experience in philanthropy, public policy, and government, and a career that includes securing transformative seven- and eight-figure gifts.

NCAA Division I basketball is coming to Midland this fall as Midland College welcomes TCU and the University of Wyoming to the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center for an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. The game will be free and open to the public.

Midland College to Host Annual TACRAO College Night Sept. 30

Midland College will bring more than 70 colleges, universities and military branches under one roof on Wednesday, Sept. 30, giving students and families from across the community an opportunity to explore what comes after high school. The annual Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO) College Night will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center on the Midland College campus. The event is free and open to the community. Students and families are encouraged to register in advance at the College Night website.

The Abell-Hanger Foundation has committed $7 million to support construction of Midland College’s new Applied Technology Complex, an investment that will expand access to high-quality Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and help prepare students for the workforce opportunities shaping the future of the Permian Basin.
