Work Study

Work Study

The Federal Work Study (FWS) program is a need-based financial aid program that is based on information provided on the FAFSA. It provides funds that students earn through part-time employment to help pay the costs of their educational expenses. Students must be enrolled in at least six hours to participate in the Federal Work Study Program.

Applying for FAFSA

Although a FWS award may appear on your award letter, funds must be earned. Funds earned are paid directly to you in the form of a paycheck, and are not credited to your student account.
