Foster Care Students

Midland College strives to help current and former foster youth in many ways. One of the primary ways of doing this is by sharing knowledge about support services, academic pursuits, financial aid, student life and career resources.

Information and referral is also available on medical and behavioral health coverage and services and public benefit programs. Some of these include programs related to food security, affordable housing, and housing subsidies.

Additional services may include case management assistance and counseling, parenting and child care resources, employment help, financial counseling, tax preparation aid and referral. Transportation assistance information, student academic success strategies and related material and referral can also be given.

If you are a foster care student, someone formerly in foster care or just have questions, please contact us and take advantage of the services Midland College offers. We want you to be successful!
