Modern & Classical LanguagesSpanish Classes

Foreign languages are becoming more and more important in our global and diverse world. In an increasingly global market, being bilingual offers many advantages.

Learning to speak Spanish or French fluently broadens communication skills and often gives a competitive edge when seeking employment in many fields. Fluency in Spanish or French can be particularly beneficial in career paths such as business, education, engineering, finance, government, health, medicine, psychology, social work and any of the helping professions.

Instruction offered at various levels of proficiency, allows students to acquire language competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as gain a greater appreciation of other cultures. Ultimately, learning a foreign language allows students to cultivate a global perspective, generates opportunities in global communities and allows students to make a difference in the lives of others.
