How to Access Your 1098-T
Electronic Access to 1098-T
Student 1098-T forms are available (approximately) the third week of January and can be accessed at 1098tforms.com.
Mailed Hard Copy
1098-T’s forms not accessed prior to January 31st will be mailed to your home address
on January 31st.
Additional Details
- Electronic access is available even after 1098-T’s are mailed.
- A valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
(ITIN) is required in order to receive a 1098-T. To update your SSN or ITIN, complete
the Social Security Number Update form. After the SSN or ITIN is updated, please contact the Cashier’s Office to request
a 1098-T. Midland College places a high priority on the security of our records and
the privacy of our students. Your Social Security number and Tax ID, coursework, and
grades are protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
- International Students: 1098-T’s are not automatically created for international students.
To have one created, contact the Cashier’s Office.
- To qualify for a 1098-T, the student's payments must exceed the amount of scholarships and grants for the applicable tax year.
