Midland native finds fulfillment working in the nonprofit sector

Midland College Honors Veterans at 2024 Veterans Day Celebration
On November 9, Midland College held its annual Veterans Day Celebration, uniting veterans, families, and community members in honoring the service of military personnel. The event included inspiring speakers, heartfelt tributes to those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, a 5K and fun run, as well as a job and resource fair tailored for veterans in the Permian Basin.
Native Midlander's passion is fundraising for local nonprofits
MC grad Tim Jakel said that he wants to wake up every morning and know that he is doing something to give back to the nonprofit community that helped his family.
