Midland College presents Michael Feinstein in an extraordinary evening of music, honoring the legendary Tony Bennett through the grandeur of big band arrangements on Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. As part of the Phyllis and Bob Cowan Performing Arts Series, this remarkable performance will feature the Carnegie Hall Big Band, bringing to life the timeless melodies that defined an era.

Midland College announces the next installment of the Davidson Distinguished Lecture Series, featuring renowned physician, author, and Stanford University professor Dr. Abraham Verghese. This special event, "The Caring in Healthcare: Challenges and Opportunities in a Technological Era," is free and open to the public and will take place on Tuesday, March 25 from 7-8 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center.

Midland College invites the community to engage in Café Connect, a series of free, one-day interactive workshops designed to inspire personal growth, lifelong learning, and meaningful connections. These engaging sessions provide an opportunity to explore health, wellness, culture, and technology, all led by industry professionals who bring real-world experience and practical insights.

Midland College announces that it will offer tours of the Pre-K Academy at MC on March 5, March 19, and March 26, 2025 from 4:30-5 p.m. These tours will give prospective parents and families an opportunity to explore the facility, meet with staff, and learn about the programs available for three- and four-year-old children.

The Midland College Board of Trustees unanimously approved placing a $450 million bond proposal on the May 2025 election ballot during their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The bond package aims to address critical campus improvements, including expanding career and technical education (CTE) space, enhancing campus facilities, and upgrading infrastructure for safety, security, and ease-of-use. This will be the first bond election for Midland College since 2005.
