While earning her MFA in writing and MA in literature, Stacy Egan taught composition courses at the university she attended. She had a wonderful experience and fell in love with teaching. Helping students become competent writers and researchers impacts their lives well beyond college; she loves being able to help them enhance their skills. She tries to pick interesting readings and activities that relate to timely real-world topics.

She writes and publishes short stories, loves to cook and eat new recipes, and really enjoys traveling to new places. To unwind, she attends yoga classes. She is happiest spending time with her husband and daughter.
