Midland College is proud to announce that 34 of its student athletes have been named to the 2024 Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) All-Academic Team. This prestigious recognition highlights the exceptional dedication and hard work of these student athletes, who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom.

Midland College is proud to announce that 34 of its student athletes have been named to the 2024 Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) All-Academic Team. This prestigious recognition highlights the exceptional dedication and hard work of these student athletes, who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom.

The honored athletes represent five different sports, showcasing the breadth of talent and commitment across Midland College’s athletic programs. This achievement underscores the college's commitment to fostering an environment where academic and athletic excellence go hand in hand.

“It's a proud moment for Midland College Athletics and Midland College to see the academic successes of our student athletes and to have them recognized each year,” said Athletic Director, Forrest Allen. “I applaud our students who balance their various athletic endeavors, including practices, conditioning sessions and their competitive schedules, with high levels of achievement in the classroom.”  

The WJCAC All-Academic Team honors student athletes who have achieved a GPA of 3.25 or higher while participating in at least one season of their sport. This recognition not only highlights their academic achievements but also their ability to manage the dual responsibilities of being a student and an athlete.
