Midland College will host a series of Legacy Scholarship Info Sessions to provide students with an opportunity to apply for the Legacy Scholars Program, which offers full-tuition scholarships along with support services aimed at student success.

Funded by the Abell-Hanger Foundation, the Scharbauer Foundation, the Helen Greathouse Charitable Trust, and the Chaparral Foundation, the program is designed to help students access higher education while also promoting leadership development, community involvement, and philanthropy.

The Legacy Scholars Program supports students by covering tuition costs and offering resources such as leadership training, networking opportunities, success coaching, and community engagement.

“We are committed to providing students with the financial support and resources they need to build skills for their future careers and personal growth,” said Tanisha Sam, MC’s Associate Director of the Legacy Scholars Program. “The Legacy Scholarship helps remove financial barriers while also offering opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, engage with their community, and build a network that will support them throughout their careers.”
