 Midland College is set to welcome internationally recognized experts for a rotating
equipment technologies seminar on March 4 and 5 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Advanced
Technology Center (3200 W Cuthbert Ave, Midland, TX). The events will feature Roman Megela Gazdova, CRL, Senior Reliability Engineer
at Easy-Laser AB, and Christopher Greene, Technical Trainer at LUDECA, INC., bringing
world-class expertise to West Texas.
Gazdova, a Sweden-based reliability engineer, has more than 20 years of experience
working with gas compression systems across Europe, Asia, and the United States. His
expertise spans multiple industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, and natural
gas, with a strong focus on optimizing production processes and improving machinery
reliability.
Greene is an industry-certified vibration and ultrasound specialist who trains professionals
in predictive maintenance and reliability techniques. Together, they will provide
valuable insights into best practices for ensuring the efficiency and longevity of
rotating equipment.

in global experts like Roman and Christopher, we are ensuring that both our students
and our industry partners stay at the forefront of technological advancements.”
An exclusive session for Midland College students will take place on March 4, followed
by an open seminar for industry leaders and company partners on March 5. In addition
to expert presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Advanced
Technology Center, home to Midland College’s hands-on training programs in areas such
as natural gas compression, diesel technology, automation, and welding.
The seminar reflects Midland College’s ongoing commitment to collaboration, world-class
technical training, access, and student success. The event is hosted in partnership
with LUDECA, INC., Easy-Laser, and Midland College, further demonstrating the college’s
dedication to advancing technical education and workforce development.
