The Midland College campus came alive with holiday cheer on Thursday night as more
than 1,000 community members gathered for the Annual Holiday Evening event. Families,
friends, and students celebrated the season with a night filled with family-friendly
activities and entertainment.
“The Annual Holiday Evening is one of our favorite traditions at Midland College,”
said Dr. Damon Kennedy, MC President. “It’s our way of giving back to the community
and creating memories that bring everyone together. Seeing families enjoying themselves
and celebrating the holiday spirit is what makes this event so special.”
The event featured a special visit from Santa Claus, who delighted children with photo
opportunities and holiday wishes. Guests also enjoyed festive hayrides around the
MC campus, while enjoying free hot cocoa and cookies.
A highlight of the evening was the enchanting musical performances by the Midland
College Jazz Ensemble and Chap Singers. Their renditions of holiday classics set the
tone for a joyful celebration and filled the air with the sounds of the season.
The turnout exceeded expectations, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for the event
and the holiday season. Families of all ages left with smiles, full hearts, and a
shared sense of togetherness, marking another successful year for this cherished Midland
College tradition.
Midland College extends its gratitude to everyone who attended and looks forward to
continuing this beloved tradition for years to come.
