Midland College is excited to announce the launch of its Veterans Book Club, a new eight-week program designed to bring Veterans, their families, and supporters together for meaningful discussions and shared experiences. The weekly meetings will take place every Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the Scharbauer Student Center Club Room, starting Jan. 30 and running through March 20.

This funding will support the launch of a new childcare assistance program specifically designed to help first-generation college students enrolled full-time in a Midland College Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathway.

Dr. Todd Houck, Professor of History and Henry Chair at Midland College, recently presented the Social & Behavioral Sciences & Business Division Adjunct Teaching Excellence Award to Jennifer Young in recognition of her outstanding service and dedication to the Midland College History Department. This award celebrates teaching excellence by part-time instructors within the division, highlighting their invaluable contributions to student success.
