Chad Farris has a passion for aviation and a former instructor gave him the inspiration to teach aviation maintenance. Aviation maintenance requires hands-on experience, so he prefers the traditional classroom. He believes in maintaining a positive learning environment.

He lists aviation and ranching as hobbies and is a professional skydiver. He cares about water and air quality. His favorite vacation spot is South Padre Island, Texas, where he can have fun on the beach and fish. Number one on his bucket list is to someday win the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award.
