Midland College Dual Credit Students Shine at SkillsUSA District Conference, Qualify for State Competition

Midland College announces the outstanding performance of its dual credit applied technology students at the recent SkillsUSA District Conference, where students in Automotive, Collision, Diesel, HVAC, Welding, and Energy programs showcased their technical expertise in district-level competitions. Their achievements reflect MC's commitment to preparing the future workforce of the Permian Basin through world-class technical training and strong collaboration with Midland ISD.

Midland College Nursing Programs Achieve Outstanding National Exam Pass Rates

Midland College is celebrating a remarkable achievement in nursing education, with the 2024 exam results showcasing the strength of its programs. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program achieved a perfect 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), surpassing the national average of 88.35% and the Texas average of 92.9% (2023). This outstanding accomplishment highlights MC's dedication to preparing highly skilled nurses for the workforce.
