Greg  LarsonAssociate Professor, Biology

While working for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for 23 years as an environmental biologist, Larson was an adjunct at Midland College for 15 years. In 2013, he became a full-time biology instructor and developed the Environmental Science courses.

He is involved in student mentoring of MC undergraduate research. He leads a study on the Pecos River in Terrell County, Texas, examining the effect of the Independence Creek convergence on the water quality of the Pecos River. He is also part of a team that has conducted water quality research on the coral reef ecosystem off the island of Roatan, Honduras, in the waters of the Caribbean Sea since 2016.
