The Midland College Fasken Learning Resource Center invites you to spend Halloween learning about the mystique of the zombie, which has a long history in popular culture.

Zombies were initially a bottom-of-the-barrel monster that few took seriously.  However, the zombie is now one of the most firmly ingrained monsters in popular imagination.  This is due, in large part, to movies like Night of the Living Dead and television shows like The Walking Dead.  Zombies can be found in all types of media, from video games, to fiction, sequential art and even children's literature.

Texas Tech University Humanitiies Librarian Rob Weiner will be the guest presenter during this special Halloween evening at Midland College.
