Faculty Evaluation

Faculty Evaluation

Faculty performance is evaluated annually at Midland College. Faculty evaluation is based on five areas (Teaching and Learning, Faculty Development, College Engagement, Professional Contributions, and Community Service) as outlined in the “Faculty Roles and Responsibilities” and “Faculty Development” in the Faculty Handbook. Full-time faculty in their first two years of employment with the College will be fully evaluated. Thereafter, faculty in good standing will be fully evaluated in alternating years. All faculty not on a performance improvement plan (PIP) are considered to be “in good standing.”

For detailed information regarding the faculty evaluation process, view the Faculty Handbook starting on page 13.
