Adult Education & LiteracyGED® Classes

GED® classes are FREE! They are designed for persons who have not completed high school and are preparing to take the Texas Certificate of High School (TxCHSE) test, formally known as the GED® test. Students are given instruction in reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Some students need minimal preparation, while others may attend classes for a year or longer. Students are encouraged to take a section of the test whenever they, and the instructor, feel the results will be positive. A practice test is available.

Classes are offered in English and Spanish Monday to Thursday. Morning classes meet from 9 am to 12 pm. Evening classes are from 6 pm to 9 pm. For an English class, call (432) 685-6819. For a Spanish class, call (432) 684-5323.
