Midland College invests in the quality of life in Midland. The Phyllis & Bob Cowan Performing Arts Series and the Davidson Distinguished Lecture Series recruit renowned performers and speakers to the campus for free community concerts and lectures. The campus is also home to the McCormick Art Gallery and co-produces theatre presentations with Midland Community Theatre. The college’s newly renovated Al G. Langford Chaparral Center is the largest public facility of it's kind in Midland, and hosts concerts, trade shows and sporting events.

Students are provided with the opportunity to improve their skills in reading, math, and language arts. There are no fees for this class or any AE program.

MC "Technical Shootout" Benefit Golf Scramble

enews mcmusicFriday, June 7 ― The 3rd annual "Technical Shoot-Out" Golf Scramble will be June 7, 8:30 a.m. at Hogan Park.  Proceeds support high school dual enrollment students with scholarship money to help them transition to college and stay in school.
